How do I place a bid on a fraction?

To place a bid on a fraction, firstly you will need to navigate to the cask you wish to get a fraction from. Scroll down to the Marketplace table and choose any fraction you wish. Simply enter a value into the bid box on your desired fraction and hit the ‘Bid Now’ button.

What happens after I place a bid on a fraction?

After you have placed your bid, the fraction owner will be notified. It is down to them to accept or reject your bid. You will be notified of their decision as soon as they make it. If they accept your bid you will be prompted to complete the trade by purchasing the new fraction from them.

You will need to make sure you have enough funds in your wallet to pay for all of the bids you place should they all be accepted.

I don’t wish to receive bids on my Cask Fractions! How do I stop this from happening?

If you don’t wish to receive bids you can turn off this function from your ‘Profile’. Simply navigate to your ‘Profile’ by clicking the link in the top right of your screen then select the ‘My Fractions’ tab from the menu on the left.

On the ‘My Fractions’ page, you will see a list of all of your Cask Fractions including details of when they were purchased and a switch to bids on and off. Set the switch to GOLD to receive bids and SILVER not to receive bids.

How do I see if someone has made an offer on one of my Cask Fractions?

    If someone places a bid on one of your Cask Fractions you will receive an email notifying you of the bid. You will also be able to see all current bids made on your Cask Fractions from the ‘Bids On My Fractions’ tab from the menu in your ‘Profile’.

How can I see all of the Cask Fractions that I have in my portfolio?

To view all of the Cask Fractions that you hold in your portfolio, select the ‘My Fractions’ tab from the menu in your account ‘Profile’.

Where can I see the balance of my wallet?

To see the balance of your wallet, select the ‘My Wallet’ tab from the menu in your account ‘Profile’. Here you will be able to see the current balance of your wallet and also your transaction history.

How do I add funds to my wallet?

To add funds to your wallet, select the ‘My Wallet’ tab from the menu in your account ‘Profile’. Here you will find an input box below your current balance where you can enter the amount you would like to add to you ‘Wallet’. There are a number of ways you can add funds to your wallet including, Credit & Debit cards, PayPal, Bank Transfer or Crypto Currency payment.

How do I withdraw funds from my wallet?

To withdraw funds from your wallet, select the ‘My Wallet’ tab from the menu in your account ‘Profile’. Here you will find a button to request a withdrawal of funds from your ‘Wallet’. After clicking this button you will be prompted to enter the amount you wish to withdraw. After submitting your withdrawal request we will process your withdrawal within 48hrs.

Why do you need 48hrs to process withdrawal requests?

We require 48hrs to process withdrawals so we can be sure no outstanding bids are remaining on the system. Once a bid has been made it goes against our Terms and Conditions not to honour the payment. Failure to honour bids made if accepted may result in a ban from the Cask Fractions Market Place or indefinite suspension of your membership.
